Designed to slip into your pockets.

I used it for a day or two in 2017 when I bought it. Now the empty case is in the box because I refuse to spend money on cartridges that last a day. I literally dried this crap in a day when I bought it and have never looked back. I don't see any possible situation. where this pen is better than any other cheaper alternative with the same manufacturing cost. I can refill my Pentel brush for pennies on the dollar with OWN INK, I can use my Pentel pocket brush on the go and refill for less, and it lasts 10 times longer too. I have loads of brush pens even the Kuretake CLEAN COLOR brush sets which are great but also have a similar problem - some of mine dried up when received (not from amazon). I would also rather buy the Kuretake Fude brushes (which I own several and have used consistently over the years) than the ones that three people can buy on Amazon for the same price as either of these things. I am a fan of Kuretake and have loved all of their products that I have purchased over the last 10 years except this one. The pen's plastic body costs two nickels, and there's enough ink in the cartridge to draw half a picture.
