Review on Marmalade on Toast by Brad Ward

I'm struggling to understand what the benefits are. This software is marketed as 'Social Media Management', yet it does not allow users to schedule posts to social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, etc.). It also doesn't offer analytics for any social network. All in all, it's not very user friendly, and is very expensive compared to other platforms. In addition, I cannot find any information regarding whether it supports mobile devices. The software lacks functionality. As an example, if you use Facebook or twitter apps within your website, this tool will only let you create content once every hour or so - even though they are both free services. Also, there was no mention of which operating systems were supported, which could lead to compatibility issues. It seems like overkill when compared to alternatives such as WordPress, Drupal, Blogger, Typepad, Tumblr.. In terms of cost per month, the price is ridiculous. If I had been told before signing up that my monthly costs would come to £250/month, then I probably wouldn't have bothered at all. Even more annoying is that you don't get any sort of trial period - so unless you're prepared to pay through the nose each month, then you'll never know how good the product actually is until after you've signed up.
