does not work with Windows XP

When I bought it it said it would work with Windows XP but it doesn't. So I went back and looked at it and NOW it says it doesn't work with XP. And this isn't the first such bait I've come across on Revain. So when I try to unplug it from the USB socket to plug it back in, the BACK COVER IS SEPARATED and I have to put it back on, grab a pair of pliers and pull it out!?!? what the hell?
