This little key is just great. I have an old desktop computer that doesn't have built-in Wi-Fi and it works great. Windows 10 recognized it immediately. The signal was also excellent through several walls. All in all, a great little adapter without the giant antennas.

Old tech and slow as hell, just what I wanted. Don't buy if you don't know what you need. It doesn't give you lightning speeds or YouTube in 4k. This isn't a cop. This is for people who need to add Wi-Fi to their Windows XP laptop or any FreeBSD machine because Linux has become too popular (hipsters). It works as intended and works well.

When I bought it it said it would work with Windows XP but it doesn't. So I went back and looked at it and NOW it says it doesn't work with XP. And this isn't the first such bait I've come across on Revain. So when I try to unplug it from the USB socket to plug it back in, the BACK COVER IS SEPARATED and I have to put it back on, grab a pair of pliers and pull it out!?!? what the hell?

I've had several instances where internet was required to install a new operating system. This little WiFi device was such a simple solution. The built-in drivers for Windows, Linux, Pi make it easy to connect, complete the installation and optionally download drivers for other wireless cards later. I keep a few of these handy in my backpack. It's not the fastest, but it shouldn't be. It just works.

I must have received a defective unit. Windows didn't recognize it at first until I manually installed the drivers from the website. (which isn't very logical if you're waiting for Wi-Fi to even connect to the internet). After that I can join the Wi-Fi network but had low throughput despite full signal display in Windows. I can't see myself messing around with this thing on Linux when Windows has already become a nightmare.

I needed a very small Wi-Fi adapter to replace the built-in Wi-Fi on the Pi Zero W to further enhance its reliability to improve the LAN. This adapter takes up less space than any other I've tried.
