Product advertised as "3 colors x 3 brightness". It took me a while to figure out that pressing and holding a switch does something different than pressing a switch momentarily, so it was difficult to find all 9 settings. The colors of the settings weren't as different as I expected. I was hoping for a very "warm" (yellow-red) setting, but it doesn't exist. Also, I was hoping that there would be relatively dim lighting, which isn't the case. The darkest setting is too bright (unless the batteries are aging). In addition, the operation of the switch tends to be turned on accidentally. It works by pushing, not pushing. So if you put it in your backpack and carry it around, when you open your backpack again, you might find that it turned on in the backpack and your batteries are now dead. And after a while the switch doesn't seem to work properly.
