Western Digital WD2500BEVS Scorpio 250GB 2.5" SATA Hard Drive This is an excellent hard drive, ideal for many applications. It can be installed on many portable computers, some desktop computers with motherboards that support SATA connections, and PS3 Sony Playstation computer game consoles. I know this is one of the greatest software that will run on PS3 because I installed it on my PS3 without any problem. It is particularly easy to install in less than 3 minutes. NOW it's easy! My upgrade went smoothly on a PS3 system with a 60GB hard drive. I could only find information about upgrading the hard drive to 120GB, so I set out to find out how big a drive would fit in my PS3. I have determined that my WD-250 selection criteria are based on the information at the end of this review. In addition, the Scorpio WD hard drive upgrade allowed me to install an additional operating system on the PS3 by selecting the Linux operating system. That's how it's thrown! I can sit and type on it, like a laptop with a wireless keyboard. Thanks to Western Digital for a fairly quick and easy to install hard drive. Note. Before purchasing new hard drives, determine your specific usage requirements for your computer or portable device.
