Review on HBlife Sherpa Blanket Decorative Shaggy by Luis Mercado

Well it's a weighted blanket, ok it's very heavy! I plan to put it in my guest bedroom for those who stay with us when we have the AC on to keep us nice and cool at night. Here are the pros and cons: Pros - Very heavy if you need a lot of pressure on you at night to help you sleep you will most likely love this duvet. it's nice, soft and quite heavy. Disadvantages - for me there are more of these than advantages, therefore it gives 3.5 stars from me. I wouldn't recommend this for kids at all (as they say it's for adults), kids will have a hard time with this blanket. While the weight can help them sleep, they may also feel a little trapped. it's pretty hard. Also, it's not machine washable, which is a definite downside for me. I'm a busy mom. I just don't have time to hand wash such a heavy blanket and don't want to spend money on dry cleaning. Also, I would not recommend this blanket for people with arthritis, Raynaud's disease, or any other skin/joint pressure issues. This can get pretty uncomfortable for you. Finally, keep it away from puppies that chew (I currently have one at my house so I'll pick it up). This blanket is filled with glass pellets, if a pet rips it apart it could be catastrophic for your pet. If you like a weighted blanket this will definitely work for you and could also be a great gift for others. I just want it to be machine washable.
