I first bought these sponges as a more eco-friendly alternative to my regular plastic kitchen sponges. What I didn't expect was the high quality of both the product itself and the packaging, as well as the obvious care and pride in the manufacture and distribution of this product. Natural Loofah Sponges, which are 100% plant-based, come compressed and presented in a beautiful paper packaging. It also included a personal handwritten message from the small business owner! The packaging was attractive and environmentally friendly. I'm still using the first sponge in the pack. All you have to do is soak it in warm water to fluff it up. Over time, they soften and do not have an unpleasant smell because they drain much better than a plastic sponge. They're also great for exfoliating in the shower, but I haven't tried them personally. It takes a little getting used to using them because the soap doesn't lather as much as a plastic sponge, but they clean my dishes really well without scratching them. I will continue to use these sponges and will definitely order again.
