First thing to keep in mind with this 1-1/8 diamond tipped hole saw is that it’s NOT a drill bit. It has a threaded shank for a 5/8-inch hub like you’d find on an angle grinder. See my video for details. The Mgtgbao hole saw is adequately crusted with industrial diamonds and is rated for quartz, marble, tile and brick. It would most likely be used by most consumers to install soap dispensers and water or electrical lines through counter tops or shower valve holes through tile. As you can see in the video I posted, the hole saw makes short work of drilling through a loose ceramic tile. It performs well wet or dry, though I recommend wet for a longer bit life. It’s a fairly priced tool of good quality for home use. I recommend it.
