Review on ACDelco 41 110 Professional Iridium Spark by Rudolph Mceachern
Platinum or Iridium?
I have the impression that it is better to use the spark plugs that came with your car. In my case, "platinum" forks are required, but I've read (on the GMC forums) that Iridium has replaced the platinum forks. So I went with that and it seems to have put some power back into my 14 year old GMC and I got a slightly better MPG too. A NOTICE. With a Vortec 5.3 engine, you'll be tearing your hair out trying to install all eight connectors. Six of them were easy enough, but the last two gave me drama.
