This is a handy little tool. It's also made entirely of plastic, though it works OK, at least initially. I suspect plastic isn't a problem, though I was a little put off by realizing that Towalmark makes a similar tool with arms of stainless steel and ruler measurements on the arms for $7 less than this protractor. The Towalmark lacks this protractor's modes, only measuring angle, not miter. But that's not really much of a loss since miter is only angle divided by two.Anyway, it works well.
