Wanted to be liked. . But!

At first I was very impressed with this little ATO. Yes, he had several problems. The included wiring is a bit short. Also, the magnetic mount is a bit weak. It was in a tank with African cichlids and I knew they might unsettle him. So I parked a Mag-Float tank cleaner underneath to keep them out of the way. worked fine This ATO worked great for 3 months. Then, during a recent tank cleaning, I noticed that the LEDs were not lit. The water level has also dropped slightly. I thought maybe the device was unplugged. nope So I removed the sensor from the tank and disconnected the power and pump wires. When I took a closer look at the sensor, I saw that the green case was cracked in several places and slightly warped. It looks like water got into the sensor and caused the problem. I emailed the manufacturer with a warranty claim. let you know Update: The maker of DisregardWell says they don't sell this in the US HMMMMM. So you will not guarantee it (MADE IN CHINA>). Imagine if Revain had just let her get away with it all along. Will not buy this product or buy from this seller. send a new sensor. Ignore my first update for now. Let's see how it goes. Hopefully this sensor will last longer than 3 months. On a positive note, outside of the sensor failure, this system worked very well. The main cable on the sensor is still too short. Could be the reason why it didn't work. Too much tension and weight on the wire depending on where you place it. On my 60's cube it's on the front left so I can clean it out when needed. Update 2: The replacement sensor has finally arrived. I installed it and everything was fine. Today when changing the water I noticed that the sensor broke again. Still works, but I assume it won't succeed. Has been in the tank for about a month. I just don't think this system is worth the price. In addition, the cost of replacing the sensor is not cheap.
