Is this the downfall of Samsung? Probably not. But that's a slow decline in my loyalty and admiration for Samsung. As a tech enthusiast and everyday user, like so many others, I rejoice every year at the prospect of the next great thing to help me live my life and get through my day. Samsung was part of this center. But in my opinion, Samsung has been slowly getting worse since the S10 Plus. "You either die a hero or you live long enough to become a villain." Harvey Dent, Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight. Samsung embodies it. Advertised as anti-Apple at first and talked to people like me. My relationship with Samsung started with the S3. But then I switched to the LG G3, skipping the S4 and S5 as I felt Samsung didn't have everything I needed. LG was the rebellious underdog I championed. I've admired LG every year for its bold creative and innovative ideas, but they just didn't materialize or materialize - LG's price was impracticality. So I slowly gravitated towards the Samsung Galaxy, after the LG G3 (remarkably, the LG G3 was the absolute best and most iconic phone) I had the Samsung in this order: Note 3, S3, Note 4, S6 Edge, Note 5, S7 Edge, S8, Note 8, S9, Note 9, S10 Plus, Note 10 Plus, S20 Plus, Note 20 Ultra and now S20 Ultra. Samsung was the company I trusted every year to deliver the anti-Apple features consumers asked and wanted, plus Android customization, a headphone jack, expandable storage, an IR blaster, a heart rate monitor, and MST payments contained. a few that I like about Samsung. Plus, the Samsung advantage was that you always knew you were getting the very best panels. What I really want is for Samsung to fix their software shell, which is what they did with One UI. I then wanted them to backlash their speakers, which they did with the AKG setup. It was the battery life that One UI and optimizations helped with, as well as a large battery. It looked good. The S10 Plus was Samsung's pinnacle and has been on a slow decline ever since. The S10 Plus has a headphone jack, MST boards and a heart rate sensor. After the S10, I was hoping for better battery life, faster refresh rates, better button placement, better in-screen fingerprint scanner and everything else, headphone jack, MST payments, heart rate monitor. We enjoyed mocking Apple for getting rid of the headphone jack. But then the slow decline of Samsung's personality and change. Note10Plus - missing headphone jack. MST is gone. S20 Plus/Note 120 Plus - the heart rate monitor is gone S21 Ultra - the expandable storage is gone, as is the charger and headphones. All those little things that made Samsung unique are now gone. They have become villains. Is the S21 Ultra a great phone compared to the competition, absolutely yes, but at the cost of many recognizable Samsung USPs that make me no longer loyal to Samsung. That's Samsung's 180-degree strategic positioning, which leaves me open to other companies. However, as the competition died down, I hated to hear that LG was no longer in the game. So that leaves Apple, Motorola, OPPO, Xaomi, One Plus and just the shortlist. I'm about to switch to Apple, I can't believe it. Should I buy a Samsung Ultra, upgrade, etc.? If you already own S10, S10 Plus, Note 10 Plus, S20 series, the answer is NO. Save money and remember that your phone is still very functional. If you can get an S10 Plus, S20 Plus or Note 20 Ultra I still have my S10 Plus and S20 Plus and will continue to use them. I will keep my S21 Ultra but only as a backup. So! Brand new flagship as a fallback. The S21 Ultra is too big, bulky and underpowered compared to my S10 Plus or S20 plus. My daily driver is the S20 Plus. I have 2 phones: S20 Plus and Note 20 Ultra. Despite the dramatic nostalgia for what could have been, I still long for the days of the S10 plus and dream of Samsung growing out of it. д. S21 Ultra просто the ____ does not work. not enough, the battery life is great, but the usability doesn't beat the S20 Plus. Too many victims follow the S21 series. Back to 2020, what the heck happened to the base Note 20. And by the way, I don't care about the S-Pen compatibility on the S21 Ultra. That's what the Note series is for, and by the way, I've heard that Samsung might be canceling the Note series. It looks like Samsung is making a strategic transition with its foldable screens and other innovative screen form factors. Let's see what the future has in store for us. This has been a disappointing January for 2021 so far and I do NOT recommend the S21 Ultra. My best advice is to get the S10 Plus or S20 Plus. The S20 Ultra was and is a fiasco.
