FYI, this works for our 6 month old but the spoon holds more than she can eat in one bite. If you've been using them for about 6 months, make sure you only load half the scoop. I love them but the problem is they are difficult to handle which means they fall out of baby food containers if you put them in one. The handle serves as a weight to turn the spoon over. Baby food will be catapulted all over the floor and possibly all over you. If you're using a real bowl, this might not be a problem. Right now we're feeding straight from these little baby food containers. So putting down a spoon to quickly grab a napkin or whatever means there's an occasional mess from flipping the spoon.
