I use Andis type clipper blades to clip my horses. I gave these a workout body clipping one of my horses. These clipper blades have two blades. The top blade is a ceramic material and the bottom blade a steel blade. The first set of blades worked great! Clipped well, stayed cool for longer than clippers with both of the blades are steel. As the clipper blades heat up, I change to a different set, allowing the first to cool off. Usually I have as many of 5 sets of blades in rotation during the 2 hours it takes to clip the horse.The second set did not clip well at all, and the third set, somewhat better but not as sharp as the first set of the three. Weird! The only thing I can think of is that the manufacturing tolerances are off. Maybe so, maybe no, but that is my experience with these blades.
