I've worked with wood for over 30 years and have tried just about every brand of sandpaper on the market. Durability is key, and the grit of this sandpaper lasts longer than anything I've tried. Any sandpaper will clog depending on what material you're trying to remove, but I've found that for easy sanding of wood, this sandpaper only needs to be cleaned occasionally during use. I usually use an old brush or air hose to brush up the surface and then get back to work. As for the comments about the strong adhesive backing, I agree that it's very strong, but I think it's an advantage. I have a heat gun handy at the store and just hit it with sandpaper for 5-10 seconds and it comes off easily. Yes, it leaves some residue, but I usually just replace it with another sheet anyway. From time to time I use some lighter fluid to remove glue residue. I hope they continue to make this product for many years to come. I'm getting too old to waste my time looking for quality products. If anyone has buns they want to get rid of, send them to me, I'll take them!
