It was very easy to open the box. Simply open the top panel, then unfold the crossbars to ensure they snap onto the rails. (They are held together with a rubber band. Just cut them open.) This drawer has great features like a large pocket that zips off, another pocket on the top flap, Sherpa padding, and a water bottle holder and ID card holder on the back. I also really like that the flaps can be rolled up at the front and top and have velcro straps to keep them in the rolled up position. Looks good. But time will tell. If your dog likes to chew, he will find a way to chew on it. It's not Kevlar. Size wise my 50kg gold pup is perfect for growing. I was considering getting a 42" as she is only 6 months old and still has room to grow. But I doubt she will outgrow it.
