I am just using the backpack for the first time on a trip. My use is mostly for my 15" MacbookPro, computer accessories, miscellaneous items. I only put things in it that I wanted with me on my flight. I also didn't want to carry a lot of weight or stroll a carry-on along with my dog stroller onto the plane. The arm slings are very comfortably padded as is the back of the pack. I have lower back and cervical spine issues so wasn't sure how comfortable the back pack would be so I'm pleased that it is well padded and designed to fit on the back of a 5'5" 67 y/o woman. I can't speak to it's durability yet but so far it seems to be well designed and sturdy.
