This is a very nice travel mug and looks well made. I familiarized myself with the simple cleaning system and even bought some bottle brushes to clean the inside of the lid. However, there are still areas that are a bit difficult to access, but I suppose it wouldn't be a problem if I used a dishwasher instead. Be careful with the first wash. I pulled the stopper/stop lever from inside the cap to make it easier to clean the cap with a small brush. When washing, the entire locking lever fell out of the cap after contact with the brush. This lever is held in place by two small tension springs and was fairly easy to put together - once I had all the parts. In my case, one of the feathers fell into the garbage chute and I couldn't find it at first. When I did that, everything went smoothly.
