The product has internally ribbed tongues.
The product has ribbed ribs on the inside of the cup holder to keep it firmly in the cup holder. The cup holder should slide up about 1/2 inch from the stainless steel cup holder. They still work and are a drastic improvement, but be aware they don't sit well in the stainless steel coasters.
