Review on DROK 90483 8A/100W DC Car Power Supply Voltage Regulator Buck Converter, 12A Max, DC 5-40V to 1.2-36V Step Down Volt Convert Module by Will Anderson

So far it's worked great for me. Based on some negative reviews, I'm glad I got a good one. It was hot, so my first few uses: I used it to run an extra 90W radiator fan by connecting it directly to a 100W solar panel (12V nominal but 19V output), and it ran nonstop (so strong and powerful) all day until the sun went down where the fan had just slowed down but was still running. I saw one of the reviewers where it exploded (I happen to have an old CPU heatsink). I have installed it on other radiators and secured it with a zip tie for security. Since it works fine I installed it on the electrical junction box to secure the lower panel. I trimmed it and even made holes in the heatsink area. and attached the outgoing wires with hot glue with connectors on the ends.
