People complain that the microphone picks up all the background noise. Actually the reason I bought this is because of that sensitivity. You can tweak the settings and filter out ambient noise, but the fact that this mic can pick it up is actually an advantage, not a disadvantage. Microphones are there to receive sound. Complaining that the microphone is picking up noise is like ordering a cheeseburger and complaining that it has cheese in it. and a hamburger. The downside is that you pretty much have to plug in the USB to keep it charged if you intend to use it for the AUX port at all. If the internal battery is not charged, the microphone almost stops working. It takes me about 2 hours on average before I need a charge, so it's safe to say you'll need a nearby USB charger for extended use. Also, this cheap little mic works great for the price. You get what you pay for and that is 100% true with this product. It's cheap but gets the job done. It's omnidirectional, so it picks up ambient noise with ease. It is compatible with almost every computer/device. It's portable when needed. Also comes with a cheap little stand with a rubber band and a hard to adjust pop filter. If you want to quote people "Peter Piper picked a bunch of pickles" you need the pop filter to disperse the air and not create a crackling sound on the Ps. If you say you don't notice a difference with/without the pop filter, then you clearly aren't a music lover who would appreciate a great tube set. Anyway, it's still a great little mic and I'm glad to say I have it.
