Love these hard drives! They're not as fast as my SSDs, but certainly not slow. It feels like it takes about 1.5 times longer to transfer large audio and video files. I have 2 and use them as spare drives mirroring my SSDs. Plus, the variety of connections came in handy when I needed to quickly share files with clients. I bought a small soft case for both drives, which also includes the USB and Thunderbolt 2 cables. I've been using one of my drives constantly for the past 2 years and have never had a problem. Plus, THEY COME WITH A THUNDERBOLT 2 CABLE! I have expensive audio interfaces (I'm looking at you, Universal Audio) that require TB2 cables and do NOT come with them. For me this CD is perfect. I would definitely buy again.
