Review on 🌸 Exquisite Turkish Moroccan Tiffany Style Handmade Mosaic Lampshade for Bedside or Desk - Colorful Swan Neck Lamp in Brown Black (19") by Yung Rich

Is the work worth it? May be. Still not sure.

The lamp is exactly as shown and is very beautiful. In contrast to similar lamps, the on/off switch is placed sensibly. The globe, while beautiful, is quite heavy. Unfortunately, the hollow metal base is so light that it can easily tip over. My temporary solution was to fill 2/3 of the base with coins and secure with duct tape as a counterweight. This isn't a permanent solution though as the tape doesn't last long and I can't move the lamp to keep them from falling out. I guess I'll spend a rainy day gluing down pennies (or other weights) with epoxy. Updated 3/6/19 to add: I glued the penny to the base with epoxy, an effective if clumsy solution. Note that. is a non-standard lampholder and requires a non-standard chandelier bulb (both E12 and E14 mentioned). The E-12 works, but I can't find it in a 40 watt full spectrum lamp (60 watts is too bright to see individual pieces of mosaic glass). Also, it only comes in a "Long Life" version, which I think is more appropriate for a dissection room than a bedside table. I like this lamp but it is a disaster. I can see if I can rewire it to fit a standard lightbulb.
