Review on Pixio PXC327 Display: Professional-grade FreeSync 2560X1440P, 165Hz, Tilt Adjustment, Wall Mountable, Blue Light Filter, Curved Screen - Unbiased Review and Buying Guide by Jason Clarke

It's worth it if you can live with some downsides

After receiving two of these monitors, I settled on the Gigabyte G32QC. Both monitors had some quality control issues, the first had terrible gray uniformity and banding as seen in my first shot. This image is not an exaggeration, each static dark gray screen was unbearable to look at. The second monitor I received has a dead pixel about 2 inches to the right of the center of the screen. Both monitors also had a flickering issue in some applications like scaling with freesync enabled, which I didn't have with Gigabyte. The stand only has a tilt function, but looks quite solid. Ghosting is tolerable for a VA panel, and the Gigabyte I've worked with is only marginally better, but the 165Hz refresh is very nice and smooth to look at. The picture quality is good and the screen is quite bright. However, with HDR enabled, I didn't notice any difference. The curve is beautiful and stunning, and the viewing angles are excellent. This is a great monitor for gaming, but not for productive work. I would spend an extra $50 for gigabytes 10 times out of 10.

Pros
  • Doping 🔥
Cons
  • Limited refresh rate options
