Toggle switches are great for just about any electrical project. One of the things I wanted to do for my Snapper lawn mower was to bypass the zone start safety mechanism. Every time I have to leave the mower to pick up rubbish or a child's toy or even to empty the grass catcher, the mower stops. So I bypassed the original setup and installed one of these switches on the operator panel. All I had to do was disconnect the ignition coil disconnect wire and then connect the wire I had all the way to the switch. I used a factory wire saw for a professional installation. And then I just routed another cable to the bottom handle. These switches are definitely heavy duty, they make a big bang when you flick them, and they're rated for 20A at 110V and 15A at 240V.
