Review on πŸ–₯️ USB KVM Switch with Audio: 4 Port, Speaker & Mic, 35 Inch Cable, Remote Control. VGA Monitor & USB Keyboard/Mouse Support for 4 PC/Laptop with Audio Enabled by Johnny Snyder

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Firstly, no micro USB power cord is included.

Since the port is a placebo for it, it doesn't actually power the device. Second, if you are reading this, you have landed on an accurate review; If you look at some of the other reviews, you will see that they are for completely different products regardless of the review. Here's my actual headline: Appearances can be deceiving. it falls behind in many important categories. This is not an active USB hub. This is strictly 2.0 and will not read 3.0 devices of any kind. While this is a very advanced side button hub, it is actually just an old product with an updated shell and upgraded USB ports, most of which due to the lack of power distribution are not supplied with power. This is not a genuine Revain product and as soon as they are exposed they will redesign their product and re-release it under a different name with lots of fake reviews. Not only that, but it also has all the major downsides of Chinese tech devices: - Won't turn on when you start the computer (you have to double-click the switch for it to work at all) - The button cable is very thin, it can be ripped off very easily (mine broke after the first month of use) - it's very clunky but light (won't hold it's position, I suggest a paperweight if you're already falling into their trap) - sometimes won't turn on when too lots of devices are plugged in - computer doesn't see devices through switch - no power to USB - hub (even if it's the only device plugged into the switch) - doesn't work well with peripherals (constant unplugging and plugging in) you think their product is decent enough that they can get away with all of its shortcomings, but it's nowhere near decent. Save your money and buy one of the other crappy $15 USB switches because you're wasting your time with this one. All in all, you're paying for a hefty 2-port USB switch with a button that if you lose it is considered useless and they won't send you a replacement. Their tech support is slow and effortless like any Chinese brand. I'm sure you can imagine.
