After purchasing several other models of wood burners I decided to try this one. It actually holds heat pretty well compared to others I've had, but that's where the problems start. After a few uses the grip gets really weak and the stick holding the tips loosens and moves. I've tried just using masking tape and that seemed to help a bit, but it's still noticeable and hard to make straight thin lines. I could address this issue with minimal price objection, but then there's the real problem. The threads holding the tips will break and after just a few uses you will no longer be able to use the wood stove. I ordered a replacement and sent the first one back thinking I just got a bad one but this second 1 did the same too. If you just want to try different models you can try this one, it works for a short time but if you want something that will last more than a few weeks I would keep looking.
