I think the only thing that has been worked on here is the plastic. Hanging is another challenge because it's almost impossible because the glue won't stick to the roof membrane. Not to mention, when I ride an Uber/Lyft like me, it can be uncomfortable for the passenger, especially if they are tall. Your best bet is to go to a fabric store, buy some clear plastic, and then a 10 pound velcro. The main problem you will face is that the glue will leave marks when you want to remove it.
