I bought these as a future replacement for the ones I've had for years. What I like about them is that all the slides are solid. The top is a one-piece piece, not glued or threaded. You don't have to worry if the item comes off easily or breaks, they are very strong and durable and are designed to last for years to come. That's the old style. I tried new styles they ripped off after a few days. Too bad they don't make these anymore
