Review on Akebono ACT914A Front Disc Brake by Noah Warneking

No brake problems and no noise, 914A comes with mounting kits. Comes with two different sets (pad holder where the pad is held to the caliper) so make sure you know which one is right for your car. If you install a large one or the wrong one, it can touch your rotors and cause an annoying squeak. Aside from the trim kits, the brake pads are the best in the range with no noise and very low dust levels. Akebono is great for any car and I would definitely recommend it. I realized that my Honda came with Akebonos from the start. I'm hoping to do 100,000km on light to light highway driving, 75km on moderate driving, or around 40-50km on heavy city brake use. Since these are OEM quality, if not better, I expect them to last until the wheels fall off.
