This is my first "water" whetstone and I haven't used a whetstone in a while so I'm fairly new to it. I have a bit of regret about having a 2 in 1 stone and will probably end up buying a separate stone for each grit because I've read that 6000 grit can't be submerged in water but 1000 grit will a bit difficult. The stone holder is nothing special, but serves its purpose. The little angle indicator is actually quite handy at first, but I didn't use it that much until I got used to the right angle.
