Pros: - Amazing color accuracy out of the box/srgb mode emulation - 240Hz refresh rate at 1440p (noticeable step above 144Hz) - Gsync engine with variable acceleration, no ghosting/tailing in variable frame rate games - Extremely low input lag - HDR is an improvement over SDR (sort of). This monitor has a wide color gamut and bright scenes look amazing. In HDR mode, this monitor has no idea what "black" is. Everything that should have been dark turns grey. SDR is slightly better, but not by much. This is exacerbated by the "Variable Backlight" setting, which toggles the backlight on and off as the camera moves in games with dark areas. This setting can be turned off, but then the backlight will be full bright and blur dark scenes even more. Overall I'm not happy with my purchase, but for $900 Asus should deliver perfection. If this monitor cost around $650, its flaws would be more apparent.
