My head circumference is 22 inches which was technically average for an upscale (more expensive) adult style balaclava, it was too big and unfortunately a ill fit . My first experience with this item was transferring from Hawaii to Michigan so trust me when I tell you I don't like those harsh winters. It turns out that this kid size fits my ears and neck well. Bonus these days of Covid, it's totally useful as a handy 'mask' when I have to go indoors with the public... I'm very happy with this purchase as it allows me to continue my daily 5 mile walks Cheers and intending to capture more 2 flowers per $20 what a bargain!
