Not sure if it's just me or if the company has their own instructions for the game, but it was very easy to set up. After putting the batteries in the devices, it took 10-20 seconds for them to connect to the receiver and transmit the temperature to it. From there, just put the sensors in the freezer and wait 30-60 minutes for them to warm up (during that time you can see the reading dropping with each registration). From there, simply press and hold the alarm button and use the up and down arrows to set the minimum and maximum alarms. We have a freezer in the laundry room and a regular fridge freezer in our kitchen with a sensor setting between the two. The sensor is about 20-30 feet from the base station and we haven't had any connectivity issues.
