I had quite a difficult time with the install, and I bet you will too. I had initially read that I needed to remove the airbag to get more slack on the far too short wires you plug these things in to, but you'll really need it out of the way to stab something (pick, small screwdriver, etc.) through the rubber inside of the wheel to help stabilize the plug so you can *EVENTUALLY* plug these things in. If you don't have patience, simply don't buy these or any new buttons. If you do and are willing to work for a clean look, these are great. White LED illumination looks way better than OEM green or whatever it was, they feel just like OEM, and the finish is great.
