Somehow I had the misfortune that an uninvited stone got into the bottom of my car grill. The hole was about an inch in diameter. Of course, the grill itself costs about $275 and installation costs $150. I immediately went in search of alternative repair methods that would be presentable. Thankfully, the grille's plastic is matte black, as is one side of this product. The opposite side is a smooth glossy surface. I bought a black epoxy similar to two part glue from a local auto repair shop. Using a clean knife, I cut out a piece of plastic about 1" x 1". I cleaned up the damage and sanded the back of the ABS plastic piece, beveled the edges a bit and glued the piece over the hole. If you don't know where to look, it actually goes well together. The product was incredibly easy to work with and my total cost including epoxy was less than $25. I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended for occasional repairs that do not require a complete replacement of the part.
