I wish I bought this 20 years ago! This valve will not restrict water flow if you don't want it to. Its goal is to provide a simple and quick way to reduce or completely turn off the water in the shower so you can lather your hair, shave your legs, etc. without tons of wasted water running down the drain unnecessarily. It's so easy to install and works like a charm. The lever on the valve is smooth and light. You can choose to turn off the water a little, a lot (or somewhere in between), or completely when you shower. I like not wasting so much water. This saves me a lot more than the cost of this item in a very short amount of time. I use mine with a shower wand/massager. This is one of the best things I've ever bought.
