I have to say right away that this model is not the best case fan for strong airflow. Noctua has other cheaper models that work better as case fans. I bought this fan to replace a noisy, inefficient heatsink fan on a generic liquid CPU cooler. The improvement was dramatic. The CPU temperature dropped by 5-8 degrees Celsius, but the noise level dropped even more. The build quality is top notch. If you are looking for the best combination of low noise and high static pressure, then this fan is for you.
