The absolute best fan for low noise airflow with high static pressure.

I have to say right away that this model is not the best case fan for strong airflow. Noctua has other cheaper models that work better as case fans. I bought this fan to replace a noisy, inefficient heatsink fan on a generic liquid CPU cooler. The improvement was dramatic. The CPU temperature dropped by 5-8 degrees Celsius, but the noise level dropped even more. The build quality is top notch. If you are looking for the best combination of low noise and high static pressure, then this fan is…

High speed adjustable USB fan

I bought this Noctua USB fan with my hard earned money and this review reflects my experience with it. Purchased in April 2021 I purchased this Noctua NF-A12x25 variable speed version for various part-time cooling needs and possibly media cabinet cooling in the future. For the same price in an unmanaged version, I would recommend these. Strangely I have both versions. I use the uncontrolled version to cool my Slim Xbox 360. This managed version works with the NA-FC1 speed controller. I used it…

FTW Science Fan! - Computers and accessories

Arrived in thoughtful and informative packaging that quickly conveys the feeling of presenting a quality product. It fits perfectly. I was immediately impressed by the extremely tight tolerances and structural strength. I turned it on while holding it and was consistently blown away by how quiet it is even at full speed. It might not be the prettiest of fans, but these Austrians really know their stuff. They give you loads of great technical information to stimulate your inner nerd. You will…

ULTIMATE Slim Xbox 360 Exhaust Fan!

I am using this fan to mount over the exhaust fan on my Xbox 360 Slim. Much better than any additional fan for Xbox. Quiet and powerful at 5V. I end up mounting it on a stand, then attaching it to a piece of 3" or 4" steel I-beams to act as a counterweight (fans, grills, silicone pads, stand) and increase the height a bit. The fan might be too powerful for the way I'm using it, so I'd like to increase the altitude a bit to get rid of the excessive negative air pressure. Even though this fan…

Version A12x25 at 3000 rpm. Something like

Before you do anything like me, please be aware: Noctua specifically states that this is a 5V fan and connecting to 12V ports is the can damage the motor or the fan blades. However, out of curiosity, I bought 2 of these fans and placed them on my radiator. I use them on 12V outlets and at 100% speed they spin up to 3000RPM. At that fan speed they move a ton of air, are significantly quieter than the NF-F12 iPPC 3000 fans and lower my CPU temp at full load by 10 degrees Celsius compared to the…

  • There's something in that

It doesn't get much better!

If performance is more important to you than looks, if you want your PC to run all night without annoying RGB lighting turning your room into a club, then these fans are for you! I hate RGB lighting, the dumbest and ugliest shit.

Not as quiet as you might think

Fairly noisy at full speed. Less noisy at 1500 rpm, but noisy. Buy the best but cheapest $14 that are MUCH quieter than these. And for $29 you can buy a silent fan.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No paint required
