Such a simple part can make a big difference. These things are great. I first used them to line the toilet in my main bathroom after laying new tiles on the floor. For some reason I didn't level the tiles around the toilet which is invisible to the eye but once you have the toilet installed you can really tell how non level the toilet is. These washers are easy and quick to use. Place a 24 inch spirit level over the toilet bowl. Place the pads where you need them, under the rim of the toilet. Use a blade to cut the access seal as close to the toilet as possible. Then seal around the toilet as usual. The sealant hides a seal that you will never see again. You'll be amazed at how strange it will be to sit on the same toilet that hasn't been up to par for years and has now become the same.
