I bought this tool to remove bushings on the levers. We are working on a frame restoration on a 1967 Chevelle. To say the bushing is rusted would be an understatement. The bushing has an inner bushing and an outer bushing with a rubber bushing in between. On some bushings I had to burn out or drill out the rubber to make it more convenient to use this tool and press out the retainer. We've also found that cleaning the rust around the hub with a wire brush helps. The tool is marked with a "Do not use with an impact wrench” warning label. Online videos show everyone using this tool to effect. We also. It's a little difficult to align everything. Helps to have 2 people and 4 hands. It was the right tool for the job.
