The top can be thin or regular. You also don't want to use right angle SATA cables due to their close proximity. Based on the product photos, I was wondering if this is even possible and if so, if the cable is taut. I assure you you can install 2 slim, 1 slim, 1 standard or 1 slim and 1 standard.
