It was easy to install the SWRs (once I saw how to do it!) READ the instructions and DO NOT CUT or CUT the coax. The length of the coaxial cable is "matched" to the Firestik at the factory. The Firestik came with a stainless steel mounting bracket that I used along with a custom extension bracket that I made from 1/4" steel angle and 1/4" flat bar. It is attached to the bottom of the bed between the cabin. It is also attached to the top of the cab where the sheet metal is formed behind the cab (1 inch clearance). Not a lot of room but I wasn't willing to drill any holes in my new truck! The truck body cover doesn't bother me either, Firestik looks great on my truck and I'm good to go!
