1/2 inch max clearance between floor and bottom of door

I use it on my 180 degree swing door to hold it open (not much to catch it before it hits the wall, more to keep them from swinging all the way back). I think the hallway floor is higher on the outside because of the carpet and lower on the inside because it's the original wood floors. That means my undercut is 3/4 to 1 inch. I don't have many doors to attach as the screws are 1/2" above the bottom of the trap. close tries to close it (sic!))
