Have used it for many years
Great tool for tensioning any cord - boats, car brake cables, garden fence wire and tightening fence wire. I'm surprised it's not a hardware store item. Easy to use. Remember to oil them every year or two as they tend to rust but still seem to work fine. I wish they were in heavier sizes for larger ropes and cables.
