Slightly useless

Layers of cardboard make it strong, but it's just cardboard, no abrasives to trim kitty's claws. Instead, it flakes off and makes a mess. Our cats use and rest on it, but their claws are as sharp as ever, unlike a scratching post or a scratching post with abrasive material.
