Review on πŸ”‹ Hermitshell Hard Travel Case for Anker PowerCore 26800 / Anker PowerCore III Elite 25600 PD Portable Charger & Wall Charger - Nylon Exterior, Durable Protection by Rob Rogers

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Sturdy, form-fitting, durable case, but needs more space.

Starter Squirrel. I bought this case for my Anker 26,800mAh power supply/battery. I figured (when I bought the charger) that if I dropped this device in a corner, no matter how strong the case is, it would somehow damage it due to its 12lb weight. BENEFITS: Durable outer shell; It's been dropped a few times and I still haven't spoiled the look of its massive double-zip case. Fits snugly to the device itself (AC adapter only). Would give 5 stars if it was the only thing I took with me. But not me. I also carry charging cables and adapters. The carabiner is a nice touch. Whilst the carabiner is nice and sturdy, I WOULD NOT TRUST the weight of the D-hook it contains WITHOUT securing it securely in your back pocket, back pocket/belt pouch etc as this area will be stressed for a long time and will take your investment lose in a hurry. CONS: The (somewhat useless) elastic band on the outside of the case (although the idea of indenting the area it sits in was a great idea so it doesn't snag on anything) is useless if you're using your case for Holding (3) 6ft cables And the device itself, since the stress points where the strap meets the case are "pulled" away from the case because there isn't enough room (above) to fit the cables AND to hold your mobile phone (with your matching case on your phone). Even though the battery pack fits snugly in the clamshell-like case, place the 5V AC charger inside the case to avoid losing it. IMPOSSIBLE, period. There's barely enough room to plug in (and leave plugged in) cables in a way that's easy to access in a jiffy. I wish the manufacturer had added another inch of space INSIDE, not only in the bottom half of the case (aka the base; where the power supply is located), but also in the top half of the case to accommodate more than a few charging cords find can be plugged in. included, except for the device itself. I mean, where else could you keep your charging cables (and charger)?

Rugged, form-fitting, solid case, but needs more room...
