This helps a lot when drilling round shapes or up.

Smaller manual I bought locally. This works well when drilling round shapes or corners of square materials. I've used it to drill centered holes in wood dowels, which can be tricky even with a drill press. When using on flat surfaces I found it difficult to line up the hole with my markings. As mentioned in other reviews, a clamp or two is needed to get the most out of the drill guides.

Pros

The underside is precision ground for stability and perfect squareness on flat surfaces. Round marks for matching bearing holes on one side.
