I am surprisingly happy with this purchase. The built-in speakers on my new monitor just couldn't handle it. I wanted something that: didn't need to be charged, didn't need to be plugged into the wall so it went to sleep on my computer, didn't require USB audio, and fit under my monitor stand. It hit all of them. With around 75% volume on the built-in slider and 50% volume on the Windows tray icon, it's more than enough for watching videos and listening to background music. They measure 12-1/4" wide, 2-3/8" tall and 2-1/2" deep.
